actually the latest forecasts have a mild spell for wednesday, then the temperatures are going from a mild green to a ice blue. may be wind but with an icy bite.
seaton point is offshore in a NW. check out multimap, you can check out the coastline and see all the beaches to see what works in what direction, but by the weekend it is spring high tides just after lunch so there will not be much beach left anywhere. the best place would have been budle bay had it been open as you could have sailed across the bay to the mouth which is cross shore in a nw and one of the best places at spring high tide.
back now fully mended but awaiting the arrival of some milder decent proper weather, not worth getting wet and cold otherwise and inflicting or aggravating an injury.

just read on the caledonian windsurfing website of a potential problem cold weather can bring, sails become more brittle and a few have torn panels in the cold - and on good quality foils as well.
