It's picking up again for Sunday.  It's obviously an art more than a science.

Perhaps we should buy one of Phil's fans and keep it with the barbeque, the rescue boat and the mythical 'club board'. Please let there be some wind on Sunday.

The mythical 'club board' is in fact the Bruce Barton Tiga special; not many litres, but according to Tony C. it's a piece of cake to sail !

That's the one, all purple and as if someone has thrown up all over it, but a fine little board. I think we should instigate a retro sailing day, where an amnesty on knacky old kit could be liberated from garages, lofts and sheds for a joyous celebration of all things dayglow, fluorescent and candy coloured. Maybe we could make Reiner the honourable master of ceremonies for the day.

Gavin was very difficult to catch on that old thing. Im still not conviced wether the board was quick or the garish graphics spoiled the concentration of anyone who got close....

I've got some hilarious old sails in my loft... the first ever Hotwaves and some old Mountefields which I'm sure if were burnt, would rival Chernyobyl for fallout !
