i have not been sailing for so long that i fear i will have forgoten how too, these DT's are getting bad,

it has been such an effective cold-turkey that the addiction has almost worn off!!!

so if any one sees the man about tell him to be there on saturday for this reformed junky needs to relapse,

<<<<<<<<musical interlude>>>>>>

I’m waiting for my man
Got a 6'7 neil pride in my hand
Up to D-bay 125
Feelin’ sick and dirty
Huh, I’m waiting for my man

Hey surf boy, what you doin’ in town
Hey surf boy, you chasin’ my f2 ride around
Pardon me sir, it’s furthest from my mind
I’m just waitin’ for the shifting winds of time
I’m waiting for my man, come on

(lou reed you are a genius!)

No Matt, you are a genius.
Either that or extremely unbalanced and a bit of a hatter.
I can't quite decide.
Either way, you NEED to sail soon.
You are a true addict.
We've missed you.
Your beach needs you.

Matt,
On your behalf I've seen thespecial doctor and he says that if you can stay calm until Sunday there may be an antidote for your madness, if you can just get yourself down to the beach. The doctor's name is Dr Windguru. If you want to see what he will prescribe, check his website, windguru.cz.

come on you lot saturday has two stars,

lets have some big rig blasting, and if the swell kicks in as promised who knows.... i still have a wave board that is yet to get wet!!

<<<<< Musical interlude Take II>>>>>>>>>>>>.

windsurfin bound texture like sun
Lays me down with my board she runs
Throughout the night
No need to fight
Never a frown we'r windsurfin bound

Every time just like the last
On her board tied to the mast
To distant lands
on the boom both my hands
Never a frown we'r windsurfin bound

sailing is such a finer temptress
Through the ages she's heading West
From far away
Stays for a day
Never a frown with we'r d-bay bound

fade to end (sailings is a fad that will never end!)

thank you the stranglers

Matt,

Some may hate it if I encourage you, but, bloody brilliant mate! I'm logging on in my office after a stressful day at work and now can't stop chuckling. The best version of Golden Brown I have ever sung out loud at work!!
Hope to see you on the water before you go mad. Oops, too late!

Looking at Theyr.net, Saturday looks like F4 WSW in am and just touching F5 at lunch before dying off. Trouble is it says it will be westerly at his period. Maybe not worth it but lets W&S;, PFW etc. . .

Sunday, on the other hand, is forecast to pump up to F6 by afternoon, SW, and stay windy all afternoon.

I don't believe any of it but I am desperate for a decent sail and have already packed my white coat if you need any help with Matt.

Looks decidedly iffy up here at the moment. Plenty of wind at times but it keeps dropping off. I think I'll keep my wetsuit dry for another couple of hours.

Just back from the boat ramp. Maybe Force 4, cross off. Seemed fairly constant but by high tide there is going to be quite a wind shadow.

It seems to have died right off now so I wouldn't wish to encourage anyone up to Beadnell from Tyneside.
Just at the moment I wouldn't bother driving the 5 miles to Hadston.

well i found the man

and judging by my aches this morning i think i have OD'd

here is the sat report

it seemed only right to continue in the same style....

<<<<<<musical interlude III>>>>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>

Lucky with the Sailing in Derwent
Picture yourself on a board on a river,
With 6meter sails and windblown skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
It just phil and Adrian guys,.
formula races of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look we’r sailing with the sun in our eyes,
And she’s gone.

Lucky with the Sailing in Derwent
Follow them down to a beach by a big pond
Where white horse people eat marshmellow pies,
Everyone smiles as you fly past the dingys,
That grow so incredibly high.
Newspaper skodas appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away.
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,
And you’re gone.

Lucky with the Sailing in Derwent
Picture yourself on the plain on a big pond,
With sinky short boards with the wind set to rise,
Suddenly someone is there lets see some turnstyle, (gybe)
thanks phil and Adrian guys!...

John (c) paul (b) george (do we have one of them in our ranks?) and ringo ( i know we aint got one of them)
