Well TDOG called it well. He was on standby this afternoon but I was risking a divorce if I sloped off and so  missed the solid F5 that blew from 1500 to 1900.

Such is life!

Yeah ... I was itching in these 25C temps too

Could of been a good maiden voyage for my new Copello Speed Slalom

Gavin - I guess the Electric Rock has to move over for the Copello. It's old enough to apply for a pension now. I hope someone takes it on and gives it a good home.

Ally - If you want to borrow some vintage kit I have a spare set comprising
1 x 2020 Astro rock 125 litre - narrow style & fast
7.5m& 5.8m sails with 460 carbon mast & brand new boom etc.

All you need is your wetsuit, harness, and some classic technique from the days when boards were boards & men were men.

Gavins freeby electric rock will be a marginal sinker, but the Astro will be uphaulable for you as it is ok for me at 80 to 85kg.

Welcome back Ally, - Quicker than I thought, but welcome all the same.

It's there if you need it to use and abuse. The Mistral explosion I got from Phil Jerry is from the same era, but a different animal. The old Bic will be taking even more of a back seat for a while now. (Yes I know - even less than once or twice a year)

The 7.5 is a bit tatty, but the 5.8 sail is a good un. If you are itching to get out, come & pick them up sometime, you can't break the gear even if you tried. I'll need them back eventually, in the meantime they may fill the gap.

I have a meeting on Weds morning, else available all week to donate to the needy - or for a decent sail

Ally - what are you like mate ! I seem to remember some of the grave dancers vowing to sell you back your kit if you changed your mind, and I would ask for a hefty discount for blatent mercenery'ism if I were you.

You can have my old 'Leccy Rock for nowt though.

Gavin,

As I said earlier. Anything bought from Ally when he is "packing in" has a buy back option.

I would like to think all the others who know Ally would stand by that too
